Movies Of 1984
by keithpaugh
I have long held 1984 as the “best year.” I remember how good it felt saying it was 1984. I remember how awesome my O.P. socks felt, and corduroy shorts looked. No evidence however, is more convincing of the year’s prowess than a simple list of movies from its 12 month period.
It’d be outstanding even if Breakin’ and its sequel hadn’t been released in the same year.

This magic years happen every so often and then you will go through a famine again. I don’t think the next golden year was until 1999, which was also a great year though less beret’s were involved (except Max Fischer’s).
Wow, I remember watching a lot more movies as a kid and now I know why: there were just a lot of really good movies out when I was a child.
That is amazing. Might have to start an extended Netflix marathon.
Thou hast refined gold.
